In the province of North Rhine-Westphalia teaching of Serbian language is integrated in the German school system. The supplementary education is carried out in 19 towns and is attended by approximately 1,000 students:

Düsseldorf, Mönschengladbach,Wuppertal, Remscheid, Sigen, Hamm,Sundern, Lipstadt, Minden, Bad Oyhausen, Wetter, Gevelsberg, Schwelm, Dortmund, Altena, Iserlohn, Hagen, Essen, Duisburg, Krefeld and Leverkusen.
